Find out more about IQPC culture from Karen, our UK based Recruitment Manager
I’m often asked what the culture is like here in London – of course it’s the most difficult thing to describe to someone who hasn’t yet had the chance to come and meet with us.
I think our culture is synonymous with training, development and career progression – our MD once said that joining IQPC in London is like “putting jump leads on your career” and I think that sums it up nicely!
There are of course other aspects of day to day life in London which make up our culture in the London office. We really do embrace innovation, we’re not afraid to try something new and everyone – regardless of what job you do – can have a voice that’s heard. Our quarterly board meetings have an open door policy; time is set aside to meet with employees who have an idea to pitch or feedback about how we could do better.
We don’t stand still. Ever.
We have an entire wall in the office decked out as a whiteboard so that when that ‘lightbulb’ moment happens you can submit your conference topic idea and have it researched further by our expert team. Our management team don’t sit behind glass doors, it’s an open plan office and I think the layout really encourages collaboration. After all, as an events business team work is a pretty essential element to our success.
Our team isn’t made up of bystanders – our current employees are contributors, people who role their sleeves up and approach any challenge with a can do attitude, people who can find the solution and who strive to deliver the best results possible. Of course our team are rewarded for the work they do, we have a summer and end of year conference & awards ceremony (followed by an infamous company party) where out top achievers are recognised.
If this sounds like a place you’d like to be in 2017 – then please contact me and I’d be happy to tell you more about working at IQPC London, Karen!
