ellenor is a wonderful charity that has touched many of our employee’s hearts at IQPC London, having supported our dear friend Elena and her family throughout her brave fight against Cancer.
We held various events which our employees got involved with and supported with very generous donations. This enabled us to successfully beat our previous years efforts and raise a record breaking amount!
ellenor make an amazing difference to people’s lives by providing end-of-life, cancer and respite care to people of all ages, in the hospice, or the comfort of their own home. Another amazing reason we chose to continuously support this charity, is that a huge 93p in every £1 goes directly to providing care for patients and families.
Firstly for Halloween people donated £1 to dress up and £2 to come in non fancy dress. We announced a prize for the best dressed team and with our Digital team creating their very own Addams family, they were the clear winners.
We then got our employees to bake up a storm for a Monday morning treat, with a variety of delicious home-made chocolate cakes, rocky-roads, cup-cakes, savoury goods and a whole bunch of other tasty treats.
Total raised…just short of £500!
The final event of the week was our famous raffle and auction, with Ross Clayton, MD of IQPC Digital, acting as auctioneer! Ross was a natural at getting everyone bidding and it helped that we had some incredible prizes up for grabs, including football tickets, designer watches, theater outings and more.
With IQPC matching pound for pound the donations made by our staff, we achieved a fantastic total of £12,600!
This means in the 4 years we have hosted this annual fundraiser we have raised £48,316 which we know will go a long way to making a positive difference to people’s lives.
